At present, there are dozens of ways to make beverage bottle labels on the market, and today we are going to introduce one of them - a heat shrinkable sleeve labeling machine based on a Leister heat gun. The key points of this process are two parts: material and heat shrinking process.

First of all, the label on the beverage bottle is a heat-shrinkable film label roll. After the shrinkable film is heated and shrunk, it wraps a part of the beverage bottle, or wraps the entire beverage bottle, which is called a heat-shrinkable sleeve label. Common materials for shrink film include PP, PE, PET, and PVC. In the process of label design, not only the size of the product, but also the thermal shrinkage rate of the label material should be considered. If the heat shrinkage rate is too high or too low, it will affect the effect of the sleeve label.

Secondly, it is the heat shrinking process. During the production process, the beverage bottle is transported to the heat shrinking process section by the conveying mechanism. When the system detects that the beverage bottle reaches the Leister hot air unit, the Leister hot air unit starts to work and passes through the customized air nozzle. The hot air is quickly and evenly sent to the surface of the shrink film label, so that the shrink film label is heated and shrunk, and it is firmly attached to the surface of the beverage bottle.

The speed of the conveyor belt is reduced in the animation to show the process flow. In the actual production process, the heating time for the label will not be more than 1 second , or even less than 0.5 second . The extremely short heating time puts forward strict requirements for the stable performance of the hot air unit.
